What if it were possible to give a room a facelift without breaking the bank or living out of cardboard boxes for days?  And what if it were easy enough to do every season, for special occasions, or each holiday?

According to an article by the National Association of Home Builders (https://www.nahb.org/en/news-and-publications/Press-Releases/2015/april/nahb-remodelers-reveals-the-most-popular-type-of-home-remodeling-projects.aspx), one of the most popular areas for updating is the kitchen.  Kitchens are not only the heart of the home, but can be used to showcase the homeowners’ personal style.  Unfortunately, full remodels can be expensive and require a long-term commitment for homeowners, plus, for those who rent, renovations are not a reality.

One way to get an updated look without the time or expense of a full remodel is through the use of cabinet hardware.  Consumers are no longer limited to just one or two choices or finish options, but have a varied selection of knobs and pulls to fit just about any décor or lifestyle: rubbed bronze, stainless steel, brushed nickel, enameled hardware or glass.  The choices don’t end there either; some manufacturers are creating semi-custom designs that fit into popular themes, such as pulls that resemble tree branches, or knobs in the shape of boat anchors.

Thanks to the multitude of choices, the ability for consumers to change the look of their kitchens is much easier and far more affordable.  This affordability can translate into additional sales, as consumers expand their seasonal and special occasion décor into the kitchen by using specialty hardware on cabinets.  Crystal glass for the winter holidays or enameled flower designs for the summer months would give a kitchen space a touch of sparkle or whimsy, depending upon the feel the consumer would want in the space.
