Mixing 5-gallon buckets of paint is not an easy task. Unlike smaller gallon cans that can be shaken by hand on-site, a tool must be utilized to make certain paint is still blended after sitting in wait for use.

HYDE® Tools Inc. has developed a paint-stirring attachment for electric drills that is meant to take the hassle out of stirring larger volumes of paint. The StirWhip™ is a long steel shaft with flexible “fingers” which move almost effortlessly through not only paint, but a variety of materials, such as epoxies, adhesives, grout and others, without causing excessive strain on a power drill. The attachment end quickly installs onto a drill, much like a standard bit, saving time and effort.
